Advisors are folk who have been given access to read & post in Site Discussion areas, but no extra moderating abilities.
They are kinda like a mix of the busiest local-forum mods, folk who may have useful opinions or different viewpoints and folk who will stop the SuperMod / Admin's becoming a clique unto themselves & so prevent bias. (Idealistically.)
They get "rotated" every so often, some drop out, someone new get's brought in, I expect JohnnyMonolith will be asked at some point in time...
