I don't think there is anything wrong with the quality or variety of mucic at Bedlam and I think if you look at the numbers attending & the dancefloor throughout the night my point seems justified.
Sure, sometimes the same songs played that were played at previous nights but it's a tried and tested formula, it's gets the dancefloor full and they generally play the tracks that cater for the people who attend.
I really enjoy it these days and although my taste is for the more EBM/Techno Industrial styles I'm always happy with what gets played now as it is quite a varied set list which incidently always features new and current bands/artists tracks as well as some old faves
Chill & enjoy it & maybe ask for a few requests yourself
