Ha, your post reminded me of a time when I got this thing called 'Trench Mouth' (soldiers got it due to prolonged periods of stress in the trenches during the 14 - 18 war).

Blisters all over my gums and tongue, severe haemoraging (sp?) of the gums so that I'd wake up and my teeth would be caked in blood which in turn caused ass breath. My gums actually loosened to the point where I could move my teeth a little so the dentist was worried about my teeth falling out. All at 17 too...



Now that was rank! I ended up getting 10 fillings in one month after that!
