'Evolution' skatepark, as they've decided to name it, is due to officially open this saturday (30th July) in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. Just thought i'd let folks on here know incase they fancy heading along.

I headed up the other day to get some shots of the empty park before it got opened to the public. Check it out, i think it looks brilliant. There's a shit load more lines...and transitions in general than KGP.

Edit: It didnt...if a mod sees this could they explain why they dont work in this forum...is there any way of turning them on? If it's not a huge task to do so, i dont have a clue how it works :s thanks.
Anyway 12 noon is when the whole shebang kicks off.
Couple of bands playing the event. Noteably El Jugador, President Prime and local hip hop group All Time High...all of whom are excellent.
There's also due to be a best trick competition (three catagories: inline, board and BMX) with a £100 first prize for each category.
