tps. used to work for BT helping people that had problems with unsolicited calls. you'll still get pestered with calls from companies your affiliated with and their associates if ou didn't tick the boxes on certain forms etc. also it'll take (usually) a month or two for the tps thing to kick in because they put your name on a list saying that you've stated you don't want to be called. the list then goes out to companies. so it takes a bit of time.
BT also do a thing called choose to refuse which you need to pay for unless your getting nuisance calls then it's free for ther 1st month where you tell them the numbers that are pestering you and they're banned from calling your phone but everyone else can get through. they hear a message that tells them the number is not accepting calls from this number. |
