Safari doesn’t incorporate Flash player 8 yet—Safari users need to download it from Macromedia/Adobe as a plugin, for now. Problem is, most of them don’t know that, because we’re all used to Flash ‘just working’ in Safari without downloading or installing anything.
The answer is to make sure your site is compatible with Flash 7 or earlier when you export the SWF files. Safari plays those fine.
