I dunno, it has all the hallmarks of a psychology experiment. Intimidating security guards, person punished for little or nothing... In the current political and social climate research of a similar type would probably attract a lot of funding. (From various civil liberties groups at the very least). Then again it could just be heavy handed security staff...
