He wasn't tazer for not having his ID he was asked to leave probably a number of times for the campus police to be called. It is a matter of security for every student after 11pm to have an ID in that uni and regularly someone comes around to check and if you don't have it you have to leave. It's an established policy. Of course it was a complete over reaction by the police but why did he stay and wait for them? He was also abusive before they touched him and then started shouting about the patriot act, people with victim mentalities are not good especially if they put themselves in situations to try and confirm it and if this is what he wanted then he certainly has, apparently all the campus is behind him. Of course it's hard to know exactly what was going through the police and the students mind. Again I will repeat the police clearly over reacted and i don't agree with the use of tasers, they could have easily forcibly escorted him out.
