I see nothing wrong with Tenacious D or Andrew WK! The Tenacious D joke is wearing pretty thin but it was fun while it lasted and the music is pretty accomplished, Andrew WK is just mindless, harmless good-time rock'n'roll.
The Presidents I love. They work on more levels than just a comedy band.
