RATM's debut was great, and it might well be the best debut album ever made.
I'll also give a shout out to Iron Maiden's self titled debut, 14 albums later and a lot of people still consider it their best. It's hard for us to rate it as highly because we weren't there, 26 years ago who here was really involved in the scene?
Changed the face of metal as the leading light of a new group of bands.
