Then a few years back I watched a Laeto gig at the Old Westie and because I worked there was kinda forced to watch them. I am now greatful for that day as the term blown away should be in the dictionary with a picture of me after that Laeto gig. See the problem I had growing up was the "music scene" I was into was all the same stuff, all the same shite and it was very hard to break away. Man im drunkenly spoutin piss now.
My main point is I wish I had Laeto as an inspiration for playing music rather than the rubbish i got easily sucked into. I can't stop listening to you guys. I had to even ebay Make Us Mild as my first copy got stolen at the frickin westie swines.
Anways I know you guys well kinda and I certainly wouldnt pass you in the street with a nod or a hello.
If the new album beats the last two then i think I will die a happy man probably clutching that very disc.

you know there's a lot to be said for commercial viability.
then there's band like us.
and for band like us, the kind of thing you just said is a big deal. not something to be taken lightly.
our primary goal has always been to make good music, but the fact that someone picked up on it enough for it to change their benchmark? well that's an important thing.
that's all we could ever hope for, and i'm honoured and humbled that you feel that way, and that i'm attached to something that made you feel like that.
rest assured that however 'blown away' you were, it's tantamount to my being blown away by the weight of a comment like this about laeto. i'm honoured, really.
this is why real bands exist, and i wouldn't have it any other way.
