I'm not sure. I think it would depend on my own circumstances at the time, what the money was going to be used for and a lot of other factors like whether I had debts, whether I'd have a little bit of money for my own purposes. For me that 70k represents the security bond to move to Canada, but if I didn't have the kids I wouldn't need that amount.
I genuinely don't know. Also when I said I didn't disagree with you I meant I didn't disagree that it would/could be empowering and that money isn't the be all and end all.
