The SRC at Glasgow Uni are currently running a survey to find out just how good (or bad) Advisors of Study are at Glasgow.
If you fill in the survey, you have a chance of winning a decent amount of vouchers (I think they might be Amazon vouchers, but I'm not sure) and in the long run getting the Advisor system at Glasgow changed.

Anyway to get a wee bit of interest going in this, how has you adviser been in your time ate Uni?
Personally, mine has always been amazing and very understanding, but when my Dad died, my advisor was ill and I had to deal with the Chief Advisor of LBSS who was crapness incarnate. Even made me go round each of my Heads of Department with a letter when I was gushing tears left, right and center. Bastard.
