I'm the same. The only think that keeps me going most the time is raw stress, but I can survive with a few hours sleep a night. Christ, I think I function at my peak with three to four hours sleep.
Anyway, my point was that Jamie needs to relax before bed. The caffeine guideline stands unless your consuming crap loads of the stuff.
But other then that, different strokes. Just do something to relax you - ask the lass to give you a massage, go for a run, have a few beers. What ever just makes you chill.
Also, get more exercise - that will tire you out
