to this and all similar posts - even though I don't have to pay it as I've a year left, some people did, and you can't just backtrack it to eternity. One way or another, people are going to get hit hard - just like those who started uni the year
after top up fees were introduced in England - should they get their 3k back? No. Someone had to lose out *I opposed that introduction, but that's moot*
