Couple of hours.
The only problem, I think, is that your liver has to clear out both the paracetomol and the alcohol. I don't think they interact dangerously.
So, off the top of my head, without consulting any other sources, I'd say it's actually unlikely to cause any problems but it might, so that's why they advise against it.
