It seems to be a little arbitrary - as Shannow pointed out in the sig nazi site discussions thread about sig sizes, there is no noticeable difference from 100 - 150px.
Bandwidth I understand (I'm actually on AN right now by the graces of my phone's internet connection) - but the sizes seem plucked from the ether. |
