Caesium, pound for pound, apparently, isn't as much fun as sodium when you throw it into water. Even though it's much more reactive you need an impossible-to-obtain amount of it to get a better explosion than sodium simply because the sodium is a lower atomic weight, so will contain more atoms, and will liberate more hydrogen (which is where the explosion's actually coming from).

faked their demonstration by using explosives.
