Tied a ribbon of magnesium around the middle of an empty beer tin and left it on the embers of our campfire last night. It turned the beer tin (other than about an inch at the top and an inch at the bottom) into something resembling the thin, powdery ash that's left when you burn some paper.
It was coooooooool. |
