Same! I used to be fine with it until an old man (i refuse to call him a dentist) of at least 100 years old gave me an injection and said "so is it numb yet?"
To which I replied "No, it feels the way it always does"
He then said "Oh well it must be numb, it's been ten minutes" AND TOOK MY TOOTH OUT ANYWAY.
I've never felt pain like that in my life, I hooked him right on the jaw and everything mid-tooth-removal and had to have about 4 nurses hold me down. He then looked at my tooth and said "ah, that must have been a sore one,. you have very deep roots."
NO, it was a sore one because I had no painkillers you fuck!!!
