Your Duke St surgery wasn't John Moore's was it? That man was Satan in a smock! Eventually my Mum moved us both to another surgery just off Duke St and the man there was a God. So much so he went private.
Tbh triggerhappy, the pain sounds exactly like generic wisdom tooth pain, though I take it by the timescale, you have it sorted now.
