I think you're missing the point, it's very easy to get rid of it, but that doesn't make it funny or less annoying on an aesthetic level - just like a five year old running around a supermarket shouting "poo" is easy to ignore, but still gives you the urge to kick the little shit's head in. If it's something genuinely funny then I'm all for it, but when the whole joke is that you've edited wikipedia in the first place and your hilarious contribution consists of some juvenile crap that would fall on its arse in any other context, it's just irritating.
