In my opinion there isnt really any good pubs in the city centre. There is alot of them tho, so you wont have trouble finding somewhere, might be filled with the scumdee of dundee but your only wanting cheap booze and screens eh?
'Trades' is a good call for the footy i reckon. You get out the train station and follow the road leading directly up into town, and its on the corner on the right.
Good beers on tap, not sure on how expensive but its the best out of all the pubs in town i reckon.
