The threads in the Gigs & Bands & Music Forums can all be tagged with genres, but altnation members starting threads & moderators simply don't use or "get" the concept of tagging so it remains extremely unlikely that any are particularly useful (it's rare for a thread to even be tagged with a band name!), this is my concern for genres in the Guide.
yes there are concepts & practices that could encourage more thread tagging but the feedback from AN members is always so negative that the effort seems wasted... |
