Well, according to Professor Bill Miller's recent study of Multicultural Nationalism, in England, directed towards the Scots because we have a proportionally greater say in English affairs and what is perceived to be social advantages (ie free care for the elderly, no University tuition fees etc).
There has also been ill-feeling generated over the Barnett Formula, which is seen to give Scotland a disproportionally high amount of money compared to the rest of the UK.
