The thing I've found with Dick is that you just have to push on and eventually you'll manage to work out what the hell is going on. Avoid 'Valis' though - it's not bad, just very very strange.

Poul Anderson - Tau Zero
Larry Niven - Ringworld
Philip K. Dick - 'Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said' and 'The Penultimate Truth'
Richard Matheson - I Am Legend (Far, far better then the crap film)
Joe Haldeman - The Forever War
The Forever War, I Am Legend and Tau Zero are possibly the three best sci-fi books I have ever read. |
