Celtic striker Scott McDonald hopes to notch the goals which will propel his side into a Scottish Cup semi-final against Queen of the South when Aberdeen visit Parkhead tonight.
The 300-mile journey the visitors face is as nothing to the endurance test the 24-year-old will face next week ahead of the crucial Old Firm meeting at Ibrox on March 29.
McDonald is part of the Australian squad which will face China in Kunming's Tuodong Stadium, some 6233 feet above sea level, in a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup finals just three days earlier.
The long-haul journey is, however, the least of his problems: as a result of the rarefied climate, the Australian Football Federation have issued McDonald with an asthma inhaler to help him get through the match.
