| Re: implanon I'm on my second implant and I love it. Funnily enough, the nurse told me it would last much longer than the three years but that was all they were guaranteed for. Had the first one for about 3 and a half before I had it changed.
No periods, no spots, no weight gain, no crying, no mood swings. Suits me very well.
Would advise getting in put in at the Sandyford, the nurses there have done hundreds and are very good (and quick). My first one was done at my GP's family planning clinic and the nurse left massive bruises on my arm and I was in pain for 3 days. Second on was fitted at the Sandyford and was much better.
