Actually, last year I had a lot more fun hanging out around the place than watching any bands in particular. The stellar headliners just gave a bit of focus to the day—an ending to aim for. Except Primal Scream, they were shit.
I guess what I mean to say is that all that other stuff does matter. Connect was a much nicer place to hang out between bands than many other festivals I’ve been to.
