I saw Geoff Ellis on the news last night waxing lyrical about the whiskies and fresh seafood available at Connect. It's a fucking MUSIC FESTIVAL, you moron. Sorry, "boutique" music festival |
I agree with the poprockster. The whole area with the Oysters (ok, yuck!), the salmon rolls (yum!) and the whiskey was a great space to chill out and feel a little less like you were at some ming festival with just burger and beers. That's made Connect a bit special for me, I just hope the slightly wanky bands announced so far don't attract a more bammy crowd. At the moment I'm on the brink of buying a ticket but just ain't sure yet, what else has the UK really got to offer this summer though...?
