Doctor Who 2008 Christmas Special: Spoiler/Speculation Thread. (No hide tags, beware.)

This thread contains spoilers about the 2008 Christmas Special episode of Doctor Who. I'm not bothering with hide tags in this thread since it's clearly marked as a spoiler and speculation thread, and I've got this bumf at the begining of the thread to make sure that even a little mouse-over of the thread title in the television forum or on new posts won't reveal anything.

Furthermore I intend on posting an image below this line to make sure that even if this thread is accidentally clicked that you would need to scroll down to read anything that could possibly ruin the Christmas episode for you, unless you want to. I'm just that nice today.

Right, back to business. If you're reading this line you clearly are like me and like to read things that ruin surprises, so well done on that. Anyway, I was browsing the intertubes as usual and came across a Doctor Who blog that had spoilers posted on it for the Christmas episode and figured that you guys love the show as much as me and deserved to know that the fat Welsh bastard has once more tried to make us cry.

"Oh, shit?" is the thought going through your head right now. It's not Daleks again? Not Catherine Tate back again? Nope, it's worse. The shit Cybermen are back.

Now you've got over the initial shock I'll start at the best place, which tends to be the beginning. The Christmas Special will be set in Victorian times, which is pretty neat, with a tag line that promises - wait for it - 'plum pudding, death and disaster'. Yeah, thanks Russel.

The producer will most likely be Susie Ligatt, and directing is Andy Goddard. A strong possibility for guest star or a possible companion to the Doctor is Dervla Kerwin who I've had a crush on since that crap Irish show following a priest or whatever.

Trailers (as in for people to stay in to keep warm/go on holiday in) were spotted for "Vicar", "Miss Hartigan" and "Hot Scottie Totty". I'll post some images to break up all this text.

Moving on, the Doctor who team were filming in St. Woolos Cemetary in Newport. A large part of the graveyard was covered with snow and the place was full of actors and extras in Victorian-era clothing. A vicar, a woman in red and about ten policemen were seen running about, and away from a pyre. Running away scared, I should add.

Again, some images to break up the text. I know you guys on AltNation have low attention spans!

Finally, as I mentioned above, the BIGASS spoiler. A picture says a thousand words, so..

To wrap it up I'll quote in some comments from the person who found this.

Quote:
1. The cybermen march through the graveyard. Victorian people run away scared and a number of them get deleted in the usual neck grasp style.

2. Now this is the unusual bit - 3 actors, dressed in feathery cloaks (like Ringwraiths) are wearing Cybermen heads. But not just any heads. Bronze or rusty heads. With a different handle-bar design. The handle bars are more of a diamond shape around the head. It's difficult to explain the design without photos. These three creatures run around the graveyard, staying close to the floor killing people. The Cybermen who are marching through, take no notice of them. Are they working together??

3. One of these creatures - who I swear one of the crew called "Cyber Wraiths" (but don't hold me to that) - jumps off a trampoline onto one of the Victorians and kills him.
Cyber Wraiths? What the deuce? Just in case you don't know, a wraith is an apparition of a person, living or dead, that may appear shortly before or after death.
