I'll look for some more stats and the like.
Are these the same people who told us the Taliban were going to poison all the drugs? Wtf was that all about - I was at a gig once and the tannoy annoncer actually gave a shout out about it

Nah, it is utter, utter lies. The most recent phenomenon hitting the streets is weed which has been sprayed with Laquer to make it keep its weight as it dries, making it far weaker and generally more of a rip-off.

I occasionally find myself envying the people the BBC must poll.
Aye, thats right. I would never begrudge an MS sufferer from their weed, doctors are happy to prescribe stronger things for lesser ailments after all. In fact the only problem I really have with cannabis and drugs in general is the proportion of users who do nothing else with their lives. All things in moderation. People who actually hold down an honest job and generally display some degree of social responsibility can happily do whatever they like, if you ask me.

I had my suspicions about all this, based purely on the fact that the only rise in general urban trouble to my eyes is a whole generation of 'yoofs' with no idea how to drink. That's an alcohol problem. Not a jot of difference in terms of drugs from now and when I first started kicking around Glasgow, in my experience.
