YES! Sorry about the loss, but I absolutely love it when SPL or EPL clubs take players from the lower leagues rather than spend more bringing some guy in from abroad or whatever. It's one of the last romantic things about the game, along with Cup upsets.
It rarely happens these days, but a great example is Frazer Wright at Kilmarnock, they picked him up on a free transfer from Stranraer (who're semi-professional, so his fitness wasn't very good) and now he's made well over 70 appearances for Kilmarnock. Plus, of course, he was a postie so we all sing, "Frazer Wright - he used to be a postman but he's all right now".
