With Azureus you can select to only download certain tracks rather than the whole album. You might also have better luck using a better torrent site. There are private torrent sites where you'll find the obscure stuff easier to find. STMusic is pretty good and signup is currently possible @

Isohunt is also very good. There's no real difference between searching for a song on a website and searching for a song on iTunes, Soulseek or Limewire.
