Policing tactics, telly problems, non-fans stirring trouble, blah blah blah.
All of that stuff is pretty much blinkered, the real problem is that the UK (especially Scotland, especially Glasgow) has an alcohol problem.

If folk had been relatively sober then there's no way that number of others would have got away with trashing stuff or beating on the Bobbies.
The outcome of the day should have been seriously pissed off and frustrated fans, it's the alcohol and societies continuing tacit acceptance of drunken thuggery that escalated it to violence.
