I think a fundraising night is the best way to go about it. People get a good night out and you also get the money for your trip. My mums friend did a similar thing a few years ago, and had a fundraising night. She managed raise enough for her trip anyway. She held an auction during the evening and asked local business to donate stuff. She also got a celtic and rangers ball signed by some of the players that sold for quite a bit. Might take a bit of organising but its worth it for the money you will raise. |
