I can't see this actually happening, in any way. Our airports are privately owned, and the owners have zero interest in clogging up their queues and pissing off their customers with this nonsense, not when they're already facing unprecedented levels of customer dissatisfaction. Facing delays and complaints over airport security and terrorism is one thing, but risking potentially very significant disruption to their business for the sake of the RIAA et al? I don't see it. Just commercially not viable to implement this sort of thing imo.
