Rent your flats for a year? Use the rent from the property owned to pay for (at least a sizeable part therof if not all) the other rent. Who knows as money is such a concern it could even be done in such a way to turn a profit...
Or is that too simple a solution?
No wish to sound unfeeling to the plight of young folks on the propery ladder... but how many students are in a postion to purchase a flat in the period between graduation and starting work? Particularly with large amounts of debt inccured from studying?
Also I haven't missed the point its just that highlighting poor junior doctors owning flats just out of university doesn't really generate much sympathy in me for this "paycut". Which lets face it is the loss of a perk...
