Surely if you want the support of people outwith the medical profession on this issue it's your job to explain why it's such an issue and why it affects you so adversely. We aren't in your position and don't understand why it's far more important than losing a 'perk' unless you explain.

Move out of their established flat to live in what are essentially student digs for a year, to then buy a whole new flat again the next year? Rent out? I found myself in this exact position and thus had to give up my place in Dumfries where many of my friends are working and where I had intended to work for quite a while because I simply couldn't afford to keep my own flat and pay for the single small room, shared kitchen and shared bathroom in Dumfries.
