I'll put my hands up and say that a lot of the issue I take with this is down to the fact it affects people who are/or at least appear to be in a position of greater priviledge then others. As such it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that they are protesting about this, I do understand why I just don't entirely think its justified in the grand scheme of things.
It would be fair to say I've probably got a chip on my shoulder about such things and might even be fair to suggest theres an element of jealousy in there as well. (Which is why I've come across as argumentative in the thread).
I agree its unfair that this is being dumped upon folks, but then again when I questioned the practice noticing the first post and reading the news reports I decided that the practice itself was unfair. Och well.
