Damnation, I wrote a response to this straight after yours but my shit internet connection must not have registered it...
That sounds a pretty decent topic... no wonder it was rushed though, the date for handing in the propasals is stupidly early. I'm not really sure who else I'm gonna look at, I've seen a few bits in Eliot, Lawrence etc I wanna use (plus traditional fairy tales that use mirrors) but I'll need to give it WAY more thought. I stupidly mentioned Lacan and Althussar in my proposal though, and I've ended up with the guy who lectures on Literary Theory as my tutor. Whoops. So I guess I'll need to brush up on that aspect.
