Aye line up aint the best but the dates suit our group, plus last year other things like location, food and general vibe all contibuted to a great weekend. At least this year there wont be so many clashes of bands I want to see! I'd rather have the TinthePark line up but last time I went to Balado I just hated every bastard there, I just wasn't feeling it.
I happen to really like Glasvegas, I've seen their name on line-ups at various locations in Glasgow for years and just by the name alone I wrote them off to be utter wank. However on hearing a few of their tracks I really like them, I do hate all the wanky PR they are getting at the moment when they don't even have an album out yet... So I may be sick of them by the end of the year but I think I'd like to hear Geraldine played live.
By the way, I'll look into Sparks. I know my dad's a big fan so I'll get him to chuck some stuff my way and I'll check out the last album they had. |
