I knew The Joker was 'somewhat' based on a character in a 1928 film 'The Man Who Laughs', but I had never actually seen a pic until yesterday.



It's funny how that looks so much more like The Joker than Ledger does. BUT DOES HE HAVE A MACHINE GUN? Fuck no.
