I hate the sequel. I'm halfway through it. I really, REALLY dislike it. It's so fucking patronising with his whole "oh, open yr eyes! Dice living is random! it's the only way to be live!" diatribe forced in (don't get me started on Luke's shitty Zen interludes). I hate it so. Wasn't it patently obvious that he'd end up in the Diceworld with Chaos or whatever her name is, ditching the boring one. Gah. Doubt I'll bother finishing it. I'm 150 pages in, he's decided to stay 'one more day'...
Jeez, it pisses me off how Larry doesn't get the entire place. Walking into it blind-folded and shocked when the TV shows random stuff, when people lie to him, when people steal his car and shit. I can't be doing with obvious FBI man joins up 'comedy' angle. (I speculate).
