I really don't get this "going out in your jammies" nonsense.

Top half, fair enough. But how difficult is it to whack on a pair of jeans over your PJs? There's something weirdly satisfying about getting in the door and whipping off your trews ro reveal some sneakily concealed pyjama bottoms.
