You want to go to Morzine. You have the choice of a couple of resorts, namely Morzine and Avoriaz.
Morzine is great for people learning or wanting a relaxing run, Avoriaz is then great for everything!!
They are literally across the road from each other. The lift up the Morzine side is a 200m walk to the list up Avoriaz.
Other benefits include a busy town with loads of bars/clubs/shops/fitties
