I'm a bit lost to what you mean?
If it's you modify their image then makes it your image then no since you had no right to modify it in the first place.
If it's they have copyright and ask me to remove it. Just like a DVD or MP3 then yeah that's pretty much it. We have to remove it.
Reason for the confusion is I'm not sure if you were arguing we shouldn't have to delete it or not.
