Bottom line is folk have banter on this site, which is fair enough. The problem arises when they don't step off when it's blindingly obvious that a new user isn't privy to the in-jokes and therefore doesn't "handle" it.
Some users on this site really are horrendous bullies, I have to agree with Forbes here. It happens every day, a series of pathetic wee point scoring exercises.
Taking the piss is fine when you know the person it's directed at knows the score, but there are too many folk on here who are like wild dogs when it comes to turning on someone who can't defend themselves. |
