Personally I would not want to offend someone by throwing "banter" at them which was taken the wrong way and I certainly wouldn't use the defence that they didn't understand my funnies as an excuse for offending. Sometimes people just need to be a little more open minded on here and not assume that all new users will immediately understand the group dynamics and humour of the place. It takes very little to be courteous and thoughtful. |
he took offence to ross saying "did gary glitter have a car boot sale?" if you fail to understand what is a very simple concept that has nothing to do with pedophilia or child abuse what chance do you have anywhere on the internet? he infered a meaning, and took serious offence to something that wasn't there.
there were questions on his sex, which he seemed to answer quite the thing, tam was quite honest and open about it and not abusive.
andrew edited a picture to show gary glitters head in his outfit. again, nothing to do with child abuse or pedophillia and yet he took it that way. as i read this there was little to no abuse untill he decided to leave.
this has all spawned out of a person persuming ross called him a peado. how are we supposed to deal with someone not understanding what someone else is saying?
