None taken course it would help if you had more facts, considering my dad was working class truck driver that worked his way up during the thatcher years bought a farm then got made pretty much bankrupt and worked as a plumber while my mum worked as a secretary.
Yeah we had
great times during the Thatcher years sleeping in the one room of the guest house they eventually managed to buy with the 18% morgage rate and worked like bastards to make successful. In the end we lucked out, like alot of people did who were given the opertunity under thatcher to buy their homes, since house prices went throught the roof.
So yeah were now relatively well off because my Dad worked like a bastard, got knocked down and got back up and and worked harder and we got a little lucky and he instilled in me that same attitude, you have to take the odd risk and just work as hard as possible and not expect any hand outs.
